'ND Rosalind' pink bean (RFP-355)

Description

‘ND Rosalind’ pink bean was released in 2024 by the North Dakota Agricultural Experiment Station. ND Rosalind has shown competitive agronomic performance, including significantly higher seed yield, compared to other pink varieties commonly grown in North Dakota. ND Rosalind has excellent upright architecture and matures in approximately 101 days. This variety has intermediate resistance to common bacterial blight (CBB) and resistance to bean common mosaic and bean common mosaic necrosis viruses (BCMV & BCMNV).

To help ensure genetic purity, 'ND Rosalind' is protected under PVPA Title V (certificate No. 202400369) and must be sold as a class of certified seed.
