Novel Polymeric Vehicles

Scientists at NDSU have invented polymeric vehicles with liquid crystalline-like properties, solvent dispersable polymeric vehicles, formulated coating compositions with liquid crystalline-like properties and a method for imparting liquid crystalline properties to a coating binder. The materials with liquid crystalline-like properties lack structural segments previously regarded as mesogenic.
