Novel Siloxane Reactive Diluents for Cationic UV Coatings

RFT-27

This technology has functionalized the polyols with a siloxane group which participates in the film forming reaction via a phololytically initiated crosslinking process. The reactive diluent also decreases the application viscosity while retaining the flexibility of the parent polyol. The reactive diluent increases the hydralytic stability of the resultant cured films, and reduces the surface tension of the coatings.
