‘Dakota Rose’ was evaluated as ND3574-5R and was released by the North Dakota Agricultural Experiment Station.   'Dakota Rose' was derived from a cross originally made at NDSU on March 22, 1987 between North Dakota selections
ND1196-2R and ‘NorDonna’.

'Dakota Rose' is being grown in the United States.  Seed of 'Dakota Rose' is available from certified seed growers in North Dakota and as minitubers from the North Dakota State Seed Department.
