Other Comments
Smooth skinned russet potato cultivar with good culinary quality. 'Goldrush' is medium in maturity and has a very strong vine. The plants are somewhat upright in growth and have been reported as being somewhat drought resistant.
One of the most outstanding characteristics of 'Goldrush' is its resistance to hollow heart. Hollow heart studies conducted on the Red River Valley Research Farm for three years showed little or no hollow heart. 'Goldrush' is an oblong, smooth, russet-skinned potato cultiar that has very white flesh, good culinary quality, and is adapted for both the fresh and processing market.

'Goldrush' currently is being grown in the United States. Seed of 'Goldrush' is available from certified seed growers in North Dakota and as minitubers from the North Dakota State Seed Department. License Agreements are available by contacting Dale Zetocha
