'NorPro'
'Norpro' was released by NDSU in 1998. Developed primarily for the Tofu specialty export market, this 0.4 maturity soybean has also tested well for use in the Miso, Nimame and Okara-derived food markets. 'NorPro' has purple flowers, grey pubscence, brown pods, a dull-yellow seed and a clear hila. Seed size is larger than Proto although 'NorPro' is a cross from Proto and Ozzie.
