Alkabo is well-adapted to the entire durum producing region of North Dakota, but seems to perform especially well in the Williston area. Alkabo has shown excellent yield potential in NDSU yield trials. Alkabo has a very large kernel, similar to that of the variety Ben. Alkabo also has very strong straw.
